Wow! Here is an extremely rare find! A brand 
set of 1948 Bobby Jones KroFlite Percussion Center Persimmon Woods --
Brand new in the original box! I even have the original shipping box
with the old Spalding shipping label and a cancelled postage meter
stamp dated October 1948.
The shipping box is in pretty rough shape. (Hey, it's 50 years old!) The shipping label is good and I will include the box with purchase.
The display box that is pictured below is in very good shape. It shows its age and it has a few dings in it. Along the left side, there is a crinkle or crease that has caused it to tear slightly. All of the labels are in good shape as pictured.
The clubs themselves are mint .
It looks like someone may have hit the 2 wood off of a driving mat
once. It has a little black rubber mark on the soleplate that I
suspect would clean off pretty easily, but I will leave that to the
lucky purchaser. The grips and shaft labels are all like new. They
have definitely never been in a golf bag. The driver has a dark spot
on top that looks to be a character trait of the persimmon. The
whipping is rather unique in that each club was finished with a
different color of whipping. Most of it is standard black whipping,
but the different colors were used for the last few wraps around the
top. I believe it shows up in one of the pictures below.
